Looking Forward

Pastor Harvey Pflug started out Tuesday's vision meeting by asking us to look at the year ahead of us and share:

• Our biggest challenge for 2011
• The one thing we anticipate the most in 2011
  

Now, I am not going to share the confidential requests shared by staff, but I noticed many times a person's biggest challenge was also the thing they were most looking forward to seeing how God was going to work.

For example, we spoke about the church's vision statement, "Making more and better disciples for Christ." No one can deny that living up to this statement is challenging, but aren't we all eagerly anticipating how God is going to work through our church family to grow his kingdom for his glory?
